The NGX research tool serious investors don't have.
Daily-scored composite ranks across every NGX equity. Per-stock detail pages, sector-relative valuation, plain-English risk flags, and a weekly research note — built for HNW investors, family offices, and serious Nigerian retail.
What Nigerian investors don't currently have
Local brokers publish research that pushes their book. International tools don't cover NGX. Bloomberg Terminal is overkill at ₦30M+/year. Most retail tools show prices, not analytical context.
The gap: No tool exists that gives a Nigerian investor a research-grade, single-page view of any NGX stock — with valuation context vs sector peers, plain-English risk flags, and a model that has been backtested in public. Until now.
What you get
Four research surfaces, refreshed daily. Built to be used in 5 minutes, not 50.
Composite score for every NGX stock
0-100 rank combining Valuation (40%), Financials (35%), and Technical (25%) pillars — all percentile-ranked within sector. Liquidity-gated.
Per-stock research pages
One URL per ticker. Snowflake 5-axis radar, price chart with MA50/MA200, peer comparison, plain-English insight bullets, and risk flags.
Stock Style classification
Super Stock, Quality Compounder, Deep Value, Momentum Breakout, Recovery Play, Value Trap, Falling Star — instant triage of what kind of opportunity you're looking at.
Weekly research note + dashboards
One concise PDF-style note every Sunday with the week's top picks, cumulative chart, news context, and methodology footer. Plus interactive dashboards refreshed daily.
How the model works
Same methodology institutional research teams use — adapted for the NGX universe and refreshed each trading day.
SCORE
Every NGX equity scored on three pillars: Valuation (P/E, P/B, P/S, EV/EBITDA, FCF Yield), Financials (ROE, margins, leverage), and Technical (signals, moving averages, ADX, RSI).
RANK
Every metric percentile-ranked within sector — banks compared to banks, telcos to telcos. Liquidity gate filters out names you can't actually trade. Value-trap guard caps "cheap but weak."
PUBLISH
Tier classification (Conviction Buy / Accumulate / Neutral / Avoid), Stock Style, Quality Score, risk flags. Delivered as dashboards, weekly research note, and per-stock detail pages.
What we measure — and what we don't
Most "AI stock" tools overpromise on what they can deliver. We don't. Read the honesty panel before you subscribe.
✓ What we cover
- Daily valuation, technical, and financial metrics on ~150 NGX equities
- Sector-relative percentile ranking (banks vs banks, not banks vs telcos)
- 30-day average daily value (ADV) liquidity gate
- OHLCV-derived technical signals across 17 months
- NGX-relevant news from Nairametrics, BusinessDay, The Cable, Reuters Africa, CNBC
- Public 4-month backtest with explicit tier hit rates
✗ What we don't (yet)
- DCF intrinsic value — no cost-of-capital model for NGX, would be pseudo-precision
- Broker consensus estimates — no publicly available NGX consensus feed
- Insider trades / institutional ownership — no public NGX data feed
- Forward earnings projections — see above
- Statistical significance — 4-month backtest is directional, not definitive (re-run quarterly)
Frequently asked
Who is this for?
NGX-focused HNW investors, family offices, professional advisers, and serious retail investors who want research-grade context — not just price charts. If you allocate to NGX equities and want a sector-relative, model-driven view, this is for you.
How often is the data refreshed?
Valuation, technical, and financial snapshots are pulled daily from primary sources. Composite scores are recomputed daily. The weekly research note is published every Sunday or Monday morning.
Is this regulated investment advice?
No. This is research output, not personalised investment advice. Investors should verify liquidity, price freshness, and their own suitability before any trade. Past performance does not guarantee future returns.
What's behind the composite score?
Each NGX stock is scored on three pillars — Valuation (40%), Financials (35%), Technical (25%) — with each metric percentile-ranked within its sector. Liquidity gate of ₦5M average daily value. Full methodology is published with every weekly note.
How robust is the backtest?
Directional, not definitive. Over the available 4 months of out-of-sample data, the model showed clean tier monotonicity: Conviction Buy 4-week hit rate 63.3%, Avoid tier 16.4%. Cumulative Conviction Buy basket vs all-universe NGX benchmark: +26.5 percentage points over 16 weekly periods. Numbers will tighten as the dataset extends.
Can I export the data?
Yes — every dashboard table is sortable and the underlying scoring CSV plus the weekly Excel workbook are part of every subscription. Designed to fit into existing institutional workflows.
